Merrydale Cottage is a privately owned, 3 bedroom cottage in the delightful country town of Berridale, half way between Cooma and Jindabyne in the NSW Snowy Mountains. It was designed specially for comfortable skiing and country holidays with the following features:

• Oil heated and well insulated for warm winter comfort. Faces due north for maximum sun, Wide, shady eaves for coolness in summer.

• Large laundry warmed by the oil heater and set up as a drying room for wet clothes after a day in the snow.

• Spacious living/dining area with TV/VCR/DVD

• Fully equipped kitchen with cooktop and microwave and all cooking & dining utensils. Set up for 8 people. BBQ in back yard.

• Toilet in a separate room from the bathroom - easier for two families sharing.

• Wall to wall carpet in living and bedroom areas.

• Large level yard with plenty of off street parking.

• 45 minutes drive to either Perisher Blue or Thredbo ski resorts.

• 15 minutes drive to Lake Jindabyne.

Berridale is known as The Crossroads of the Snowy Mountains because it is located at the junction of roads to many different parts of the Snowy Mountains. It is a beautiful, small country town of about 800 people and a lovely place to stroll around or to walk in the countryside. It has a pub, sports club, stores and restaurants / take-away food, 18 hole golf course and a swimming pool.
